Brandt was great captain and baited the crawlers for us or threw us one whenever we needed and knew all the spots, we even had the shore lunch and he’s a great cook. Truly a great experience thanks to the captain.

Brandt was an amazing guide. Very committed to ensuring that we all caught fish. He also made an excellent shore lunch for our group. Great job.

Our group of four has been up ice-fishing several years at different resorts and we were wondering how the experience would be after the new management. We were blown away by how warm, friendly, and helpful each and every staff member was. Roxie, Mark, Austin, Peter, Vince, Foxy and the woman who served breakfast were all awesome. The cabin was clean and well-appointed with some thoughtful details. The icehouses were great and the food was amazing as well. One fantastic day of fishing, one very slow day, but can't control the weather. Thanks!

Given the COVID conditions of the time, this resort was very accommodating and safe for visitors. The staff was cheerful and did a great job. The owner personally worked with us to ensure our stay was enjoyable. I can't thank them enough for everything and in addition, we caught a lot of fish!

We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend for some great winter fishing. The operation is very organized. Good directions on what happens to understand the days schedule. Guides are so friendly and helpful. Exceeded expectations. It was a dangerously cold day on our first day out on the lake, but the care they took for the safety of all their guests was comforting. Thanks VInce for getting us lined up for our next visit!

Went up to fish with Drew, Dallas, and Grant..we mostly fished in the river but ventured out to the gap for a couple hours on one occasion.. caught nothing but small ones. We managed to have a good fish supper one night and still bring home our limits in walleyes plus a couple of big crappies.. We had a 4 sleeper cabin which was older but it was very clean.. we had a great time and are already talking about maybe doing a trip up this winter for ice fishing!!!

This lodge was everything I expected. Typical bar food. Pizza was awesome but everything else was average. The fish they cooked for us was below average. I would not order it again or let them cook my fresh catch. Batter was over seasoned and fish did not easy all that fresh. The service was adequate but nothing spectacular. Cabin was clean and well kept but mud room was wet and smelled of mold and mildew. I would go back.

We had a great time! The cabin we had was very nice and clean. The lodge was great with friendly owners and staff and very good food. Our ice fishing experience was top notch. The houses we had were warm and comfortable and fishing was good and our guide Cole was great. Definitely will be going back here again !
